My New Years Resolution in 2018 was to do a Stand-up Act. I didn’t get a chance in 2018, but hey… 2019 had many opportunities… so this month I performed at a Dreamcatchers Goettingen event in Goettingen Germany.
It was my first time, and I was super nervous. Just before the show I remember beating myself up and saying, “why can’t you just sit still and not try to push the envelope all the time.”… And then the of course, the words of self-doubt came, “what happens when you get up there and just embarrass yourself?”
Well… that could have happened. But I had a great time instead, with great support. And that couldn’t have happened without the risk. Thanks to all who came out and showed me love on my first try! 🙂
