Hello!
Welcome to my blog and coincidentally my first blog post.
My name is Jiwan, you probably read that as Jeewaan. I am not surprised. But its pronounced Jeevin. Just call me Jeeves.
In my life I feel like I have lived a very displaced existence. I mean, as displaced as a first-world child can get. I am the oldest child of two Indians who immigrated to Canada before I was born. Yup, I live the bi-cultural life. Canadian by day, Indian by night.
I got used to being a drifter. I drifted between different social groups, religious settings, political parties and ethnic communities. When I traveled I realized was able to make myself, my being home. That was truly powerful for me.

I have been an avid traveler for most of my life– but in this blog I want to specifically retell the stories that shaped me and continue to shape me in my journey. My hope is that my stories and lessons will help other find homes in their own bodies and souls as they begin to get a taste of various experiences our world has to offer,
And so… that is me, and this is my blog. And I’m thankful you are here. 🙂
